This position reports to:

Head of Section - Cyber Security

Do you have experience within industrial networks, IT/OT or Cyber Security and want to work on some of Norway's most advanced industrial projects?

ABB is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to strengthen our growing engineering team in Bergen. You will join a highly skilled community of approximately 60 specialists located across Bergen, Oslo, Stavanger and Stord, delivering solutions for customers within - renewable energy, oil & gas, and industrial automation.

In this role, you will help design, implement and secure the digital systems that keep critical infrastructure running safely and efficiently. You will work closely with customers, project teams and technical experts, while contributing to the development of ABB's next generation industrial solutions.

Your responsibilities

Design and engineering of industrial networks and IT/OT infrastructure
Cyber security implementation for industrial control systems
Develop secure architecture for traditional and virtualized environments
Perform testing, commissioning and troubleshooting
Advise customers and project teams on cyber security best practices
Ensure solutions comply with standards such as IEC 62443
Contribute to technical leadership and knowledge sharing within the team
Stay updated on developments within network security, threat detection, monitoring and resilience

Your background

Bachelor’s or master’s degrees within Engineering, Cyber Security, IT, Automation or related disciplines
Several years of experience within Network, IT/OT and/or Cyber Security
Experience from industrial automation, energy, offshore or critical infrastructure environments is beneficial
Strong understanding of project execution and multidisciplinary collaboration
Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
