As our device-maker partners grow their global footprint, we are looking for a Solutions Architect who can be the technical bridge between Amazon product and engineering teams and external partners, including original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), original design manufacturers (ODMs), system-on-chip (SoC) vendors, and component suppliers.

In this role you will combine technical knowledge of device hardware/software, Cloud Services, and AI/Voice services with the business acumen to engage partner leadership at the CTO level. You will guide partners through the full product lifecycle, from reference architecture selection and hardware bring-up to software integration and global launch. Key job responsibilities
- Act as the trusted technical advisor to partner CTO-level executives, translating their business goals into technology strategies that accelerate time-to-launch for devices shipping globally.
- Advise partners across the full Fire TV stack — device hardware/software, cloud and streaming services, and Alexa voice integration — helping them adopt new capabilities and deliver innovative customer experiences.
- Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and UX teams to represent partner and end-customer needs, shaping product specifications and roadmap priorities.
- Lead technical reviews of Fire TV device specifications and capabilities to share best practices and resolve integration challenges.
- Build scalable self-service tooling and reusable reference artifacts that help partners onboard and integrate more efficiently.

A day in the life
Your morning might start with a video call alongside an OEM engineering team working through a hardware bring-up issue on a new SoC platform, followed by a design review with the Fire TV software team to align on an upcoming integration milestone. After lunch you could be drafting a technical best-practices guide for partner onboarding, then joining a business development call to advise on the feasibility of a new device concept. You will regularly travel to meet partners and teammates around the world, building the relationships that turn ideas into products customers love.

The Fire TV Devices Business Development and Solutions Architecture team partners with TV manufacturers and SoC vendors worldwide to bring Fire TV-powered smart TVs to customers globally. Our team is distributed across multiple regions, and we work where hardware, software, and business strategy meet. We are investing in AI-powered tooling and self-service platforms to help partners integrate faster while maintaining the high-quality customer experience Fire TV is known for. Basic qualifications

- 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- Experience with one or more of: embedded systems / consumer devices, cloud-based or streaming media services, or voice/AI-driven experiences — including how they integrate into an end-to-end product
- Experience working directly with external partners (OEM/ODM, content/streaming, or platform partners) in a technical advisory, integration, or solutions role
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Mandarin and English

Preferred qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- Experience spanning more than one layer of the stack — e.g., device + cloud, streaming service + client integration, or voice/AI services integrated into a consumer product
- Experience working cross-functionally with business development, product, and partner engineering teams to land technical deals
- Familiarity with the TV / smart display / streaming devices (silicon vendors, panel makers, ODMs, content/streaming providers)
