We're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences while fostering a company culture that nurtures individual curiosity, growth, and integrity. We’re excited about what’s next, and we’re looking for others to join us on our journey.
About the role
As our Video Content Specialist, you’ll create exceptional video content that tells compelling stories for IT and AI leaders, and about Tines. You’ll bring fresh ideas by getting to know our builders and subject-matter experts, spotting stories worth telling, and helping develop original, repeatable series. You’ll also help bring those ideas to life through hands-on production and coordination, working alongside our Content Marketing and Brand teams, freelancers, and agencies.
We’re building a content team that operates more like a newsroom: curious about how technology is changing the way people work, and proactive about pursuing ideas our audience cares about. You’ll bring the instincts of a digital-native journalist and a nose for a good story, alongside the production skills to turn a promising idea into a finished video.
You’ll know how to make each video work for its channel — whether that’s YouTube, LinkedIn, or paid video placements — everything from writing a compelling title to briefing our Brand team on what makes an effective thumbnail.
We’re looking for someone who studies video content, has a point of view on what makes it work, and draws inspiration from brands and creators they admire. You’ll enjoy working with people across Tines and beyond, drawing out their most compelling stories and helping them feel confident on camera.
You can work hybrid or remotely (within Ireland) for the role. There are ad hoc travel requirements to our Dublin City Centre office (approx. monthly) and the US (approx. quarterly) for project-related work.
What you will be doing:
- Find and develop stories: Get to know Tines builders, teammates, and subject-matter experts; identify stories our audience care about, and pitch ideas for how to tell them in video content.
- Own day-to-day video production: Turn agreed ideas and briefs into finished videos, coordinating schedules, shoots, contributors, feedback, approvals, and publication.
- Help shape original video series: Bring format ideas and storytelling instincts to planning with Content Marketing and Brand, then help make those ideas repeatable in production.
- Edit: Edit videos hands-on, guide contributors through filming, and work with freelance editors and agencies when projects call for additional support.
- Manage productions: Coordinate schedules, shoot locations, stakeholders, approvals, and deadlines across both in-house and agency-led projects.
- Create for the channel: Adapt videos for YouTube, LinkedIn, and paid placements. Write compelling titles, collaborate with Brand on thumbnail briefs, and think about how each video earns attention.
- Learn from performance: Use metrics such as retention, watch time, and engagement to understand what resonates and improve future videos.
- Bring people into the story: Work with builders, leaders, and teammates across Tines, as well as external SMEs, helping them feel prepared and comfortable sharing their expertise on camera.
- Capture moments that matter: Produce video at selected events and turn footage into content with a life beyond the event itself.
What you bring with you:
- Experience: 5+ years producing video content, with examples that show strong storytelling and technical execution.
- Editorial initiative: You’re curious, have a nose for a good story, and can proactively find and pitch video ideas that will matter to our audience.
- Project management: Experience managing multiple video projects at once, coordinating with freelancers or agencies, and adapting as priorities change.
- Strong storytelling instincts: Able to find and develop stories with subject-matter experts in complex technical topics, then script and structure videos that make those ideas clear and engaging.
- Hands-on video editing skills: Able to combine interviews, screen recordings, graphics, text, and other visual elements to explain complex ideas, not just edit footage together.
- Platform knowledge: An understanding of what works on YouTube and LinkedIn, from the opening seconds through titles, thumbnails, and distribution.
- Communication: The ability to write clear briefs, give useful feedback, and help people feel at ease on camera.
- Creative thinking: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an instinct for what makes a story compelling.
- Curiosity: An interest in technology and in using AI and automation to expand what a small creative team can do.
- Collaboration: A thoughtful, practical approach to working across teams. You move quickly, keep things simple where possible, and care about the quality of the finished work.
- AI fluency: Actively experiments with AI tools to improve storytelling, accelerate production, and expand creative possibilities.
Nice to have:
- On-camera interviews: Experience hosting or conducting interviews on camera.
- Podcast production: Experience producing and publishing audio podcasts, including adapting video conversations for audio.
- Event video: Experience producing video content at events.
- AI tools: Experience using AI coding tools to expand your creative or production capabilities.
