We seek an intern who can support us in identification of the areas in which we can make better use of AI, select the related AI solutions to use, and test these solutions to generate the required outcome for our projects.This work will introduce you in the core of our consultancy programs and will position you uniquely towards the use of AI to strengthen the consultancy business. Your challenge

Within our Dutch consumer and manufacturing team we are looking for an intern who is eager to explore how we can use AI to accelerate the digital transformation of our global customers. In the highly dynamic environment we operate in, we want to stay ahead of the curve and support our clients with the latest technologies to enhance their transformation programs.

To be able to cope with the increasing speed of transformation we need as consultancy to transform the way we deliver our services as well. We need to use AI to accelerate the way we work and provide our clients with faster and better services. This includes AI to shape the future operating model of our clients, AI to gather requirements towards enabling IT, and AI to detail the demand towards system integrators to enable them to deliver faster.

Your task description:

1. Reimagine how AI can transform consulting delivery

You will explore where AI can fundamentally change how we deliver transformation projects. For example, how can AI turn conversations with business leaders into a first design of a future operating model? Can it rapidly identify improvement opportunities across business processes? Or connect business ambitions to the technology capabilities required to realise them? You will identify and prioritise the use cases where AI could make the biggest difference.

1. Build and experiment with AI-powered consulting solutions

You will turn the most promising ideas into working solutions and test them on realistic consulting challenges. This could mean building an AI workflow that turns business needs into structured technology requirements, developing an AI agent that helps design a future operating model, or creating a solution that challenges and improves requirements before they are handed over to a system integrator. You will experiment with technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, generative AI models and AI agents, and determine what works, what does not, and where human expertise remains essential.

1. Turn successful experiments into the consulting toolkit of the future

The ambition is not to stop at a proof of concept. You will take the strongest ideas and turn them into practical approaches that PA consultants can use in client engagements. This could include reusable AI agents, workflows, prompts, templates and delivery methods. You will demonstrate how they could be embedded into real transformation programmes and quantify their potential impact on speed, quality and consistency.

About You  

We’re looking for students who are:  

• Analytically strong and able to deliver practical results 
• Interested in the consumer and manufacturing sector, operating model design, and digital transformation
• Having a good understanding of AI tooling
• Flexible in their thinking and way of working   
• Curious and want to broaden their understanding of the world   
• Excellent communicators, both written and verbally 
• Relationship builder with both client and peers

• Pursuing a master’s degree, with excellent grades and relevant extracurricular activities
• Proficient in English language and Dutch is a requirement
• Right to live and work in the Netherlands

• A full-time immersive internship experience for 4 to 6 months, with supervision from our industry experts.
