About HP
At HP, we are redefining the Future of Work through technology—helping organizations unlock growth while creating more fulfilling work experiences for people everywhere. Delivering on that vision requires more than innovative products. It requires modern operating models, exceptional leadership, and organizations that can adapt, collaborate, and execute at scale.
As part of HP's Global Marketing organization, we're seeking an experienced strategic business operations leader to strengthen how our global media organization operates, collaborates, and delivers measurable business impact.
The Opportunity
The Head of Media Strategy & Business Operations is a key leadership role responsible for driving strategic alignment, business operations, organizational effectiveness, and partnership performance across HP's global media organization.
Reporting into Global Media Operations and working directly with the Vice President of Global Media, this US-based role serves as a strategic business partner to senior leadership, translating executive priorities into coordinated action and measurable outcomes.
The position leads the executive rhythm of business, global agency partnership governance, strategic planning integration, and cross-functional accountability. It plays a central role in maximizing the business value of HP's strategic media partnerships by strengthening governance, commercial transparency, service-level accountability, and adoption of new marketing capabilities.
This is not a campaign execution or traditional project management role. It is a strategic leadership position requiring executive judgment, commercial acumen, organizational leadership, and exceptional operational discipline.
The ideal candidate combines the ability to think strategically with the drive to move complex initiatives forward, resolve issues, and ensure commitments translate into results.
What You'll Do

- Drive cross-functional alignment, prioritization, decision-making, and accountability across global media initiatives.
- Develop executive-ready business reviews, strategic recommendations, performance narratives, and leadership communications.
- Anticipate organizational challenges, surface emerging risks, and proactively drive resolution across complex global teams.
- Lead and develop a small team supporting business operations, program governance, and organizational effectiveness.
Strategic Agency Partnership Governance & Value Realization
- Lead enterprise-level governance and operational management of HP's strategic media agency partnerships, serving as a central coordination and accountability lead across global and regional stakeholders.
- Establish and lead agency governance cadences, executive business reviews, performance scorecards, action tracking, and escalation processes.
- Drive accountability for agency commitments, service-level agreements (SLAs), contractual deliverables, operational performance, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Finance, Procurement, Legal, and agency leadership to strengthen commercial transparency, billing governance, issue resolution, and adherence to contractual commitments.
- Proactively identify risks, remove barriers, and drive timely resolution of cross-functional issues through clear ownership, prioritization, and follow-through.

- Influence decisions and drive accountability across teams without relying solely on formal reporting authority.
- Represent Global Media in cross-functional leadership discussions and strategic planning forums.
