As an organization, we are committed as one firm to our purpose, united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed. About the Role AI has made our developers fast. How quickly we deliver now depends on how well the work is defined, and this role is where that happens. You'll own the application from start to finish, as the business's trusted partner and main point of contact. You'll also lead the team that builds what they need. Our business partners are experts in their field with full schedules, so they often share requests in brief. You'll understand the need behind each request, ask the questions that bring out the full picture, and deliver something better than they expected, quickly. This is a hands-on, blended role: mostly business analyst, plus product manager, designer, tester and technical problem-solver. You'll do the work yourself, from discovery and design to story creation and testing, and lead the team by example. You'll work closely with US-based business and consulting teams who have not worked with an offshore development team before, so building trust quickly matters. You'll have a handover period working directly with the current product owner. How You Operate You're a partner, not an order-taker. You form your own view, bring recommendations, and use your judgment when something doesn't add up. You take the burden off the business. If they would otherwise enter data by hand, you offer to load it. If their data isn't clean, you work through it instead of sending it back. You know their work well enough to make the everyday design calls yourself, so they're only pulled in for the decisions that truly need them. You anticipate needs and deliver more than they asked for. You push AI further than others do. Here, AI isn't an add-on, it's how the work gets done. You're empowered to experiment boldly, keep raising the bar on what it can deliver, and move at a speed that wouldn't be possible without it. You build what you'd want to use. If something is confusing or clunky, you won't accept it, even if it technically meets the requirement. You own quality. You wrote the story, so you're the best person to confirm it does what the business intended. You're a trusted source. You move fast, and when you say something is handled, it is. What You'll Do Lead the business relationship Be the primary contact for new development, enhancements and production issues, and own issues from report to resolution. Lead demos, handle questions with confidence, and turn feedback into next steps. Shape and define the work Lead discovery with busy stakeholders, read between the lines, and turn early ideas into a defined scope. Recommend what to build and what not to build, and break large initiatives into small, testable phases. Write user stories with detailed acceptance criteria (Gherkin preferred) that developers and AI coding tools can build from without guessing. Use AI across the whole workflow: discovery prep, stories, prototypes, and data work. Turn what works into reusable approaches for the team. Design and test for the user Keep end users at the center of every decision. Use AI to build prototypes and settle the design before development starts. Test every delivered story against its scenarios, and work with the automation QA engineer so the automated scripts cover them. Work hands-on with data Use SQL to analyze data, reconcile inconsistent source files, prepare safe, repeatable data loads, and check results against the source of truth. Lead the team Set priorities, unblock developers, and make sure the team understands why it's building what it's building. Run backlog grooming, story acceptance, UAT coordination and release readiness. What We're Looking For Required 8+ years in business analysis on custom software, including leading a team or workstream. A track record of results: turning vague requests into well-scoped solutions, and going beyond the job description to make things easier for stakeholders. Excellent communication skills. You're confident leading demos and discovery with senior stakeholders and pushing back constructively. Advanced, hands-on AI skills. AI has changed how you work. A real instinct for user-centered design, and the judgment to shape AI-built prototypes into an experience users find easy. Solid SQL, and comfort with relational data. Preferred Knowledge of US retirement plans (401(k), pooled employer plans, recordkeeping) or Financial Services. What Success Looks Like The business sees you as their go-to partner and trusts your judgment, even when you push back. Developers rarely wait on requirements, and few defects reach the business. Business partners spend less time on manual work because of what you build. Within six months, you independently own the product area end to end.
