We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

• Manage end-to-end Screening Operations covering sanctions, adverse media, name screening and onboarding alerts to ensure alerts are appropriately investigated, documented, escalated and concluded within established service requirements.
• Monitor operational performance, capacity and quality across the unit to maintain accurate case disposition, audit-ready records and consistent delivery across the screening operation.
• Manage operational controls across Screening Operations to identify and address sanctions exposure, control weaknesses, emerging alert types and operational risks while maintaining alignment with approved regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Monitor key risk indicators, key performance indicators, hit rates and emerging risk trends and coordinate corrective and remediation actions with Group Compliance, Sanctions Advisory and Operational Risk to maintain an appropriate control environment.
• Oversee the artificial intelligence solutions deployed within Screening Operations and assess opportunities to enhance screening logic and detection outcomes based on operational experience, alert trends and identified control requirements.
• Coordinate simulation testing and evaluation of proposed logic changes with relevant stakeholders to ensure enhancements are appropriately assessed and vetted prior to implementation
• Manage operational enhancements to screening systems and workflows in collaboration with Technology Services and relevant vendors to improve screening accuracy, operational efficiency and control effectiveness.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing, system upgrades, model tuning, automation and workflow improvements to ensure approved changes are appropriately tested and support sustainable operational performance.
• Ensure Screening Operations processes and controls remain aligned with applicable regulatory requirements, ADCB policies and approved procedures and that appropriate supporting documentation and evidence are maintained.
• Support regulatory reviews, internal audits and compliance testing and coordinate remediation of

identified operational findings to ensure actions are addressed and escalated through the appropriate channels.

• Coordinate with Group Compliance, Sanctions Advisory, Operational Risk, Fraud Risk, Operations and Business Units to support the resolution and escalation of complex screening cases and operational control matters.
• Provide operational guidance on screening requirements and communicate material trends, control issues and operational considerations to relevant stakeholders to support consistent application of financial crime controls.
• Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems.

The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

• At least 7 years of experience in Banking Operations, including experience in financial crime or compliance
• operations with exposure to sanctions screening.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Certified Global Sanctions Specialist (CGSS) or Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).
