Purpose of the Job

Oversee the day-to-day operational execution, content assembly, and functional maintenance of Sonova’s 18+ global websites powered by Contentstack headless CMS. This role is the central guardian of front-end platform quality, accessibility compliance, and global-to-local publishing workflows, ensuring flawless execution of localized updates, major migrations, and digital experience rollouts.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Global CMS Platform Management: Serve as the functional owner and administrator of the Contentstack headless CMS ecosystem across all international markets. Establish global publishing workflows, manage content approval permissions, and safeguard front-end design integrity.
  • Automated Translation Architecture: Oversee the launch, engineering integration, and day-to-day operational governance of the automated AI translation tool pipeline embedded within Contentstack, systematically reducing localisation friction and manual translation processing.
  • Global Content Architecture & Tooling: Run advanced auditing tools to evaluate content performance across regions. Identify high-performing global digital assets and build the scalable framework that allows these assets to be easily duplicated and scaled into missing local markets.
  • Commercial Page Templating: Maintain and continuously optimise standardised, best-in-practice web page layouts (inc. blogs, product and digital touchpoints) and content forms (eg written, video, audio) configured for high commercial conversion, ensuring they are seamlessly balanced with brand messaging and core content blocks.
  • Technical SEO & Schema App Infrastructure: Partner with the SEO specialists to maximize organic search visibility (SEO/GEO). Own the technical implementation of structured data across the entire global estate, utilizing Schema App to deploy robust schema markup.
  • Global SEO Forum Collaboration: cultivate the newly mobilised Global SEO Forum. Act as the primary operational link to translate the technical insights and growth strategies shared by regional agencies into actionable platform updates.
  • Accessibility & Compliance Quality Control: Serve as the central business owner for the platform's digital accessibility topic, enforcing international compliance standards. Establish rigorous pre-publishing automated quality checks to guarantee a flawless user experience across all 18+ sites.
  • Cross-Functional Delivery Enablement: Partner directly with web designers, analysts, and engineering teams to implement platform enhancements, validate feature releases, and monitor core global speed and uptime benchmarks.
  • Market Training & Capability Upskilling: Design documentation, best-practice playbooks, and training frameworks to upskill regional content leads on Contentstack utilization and agentic AI workspace tools to unlock operational efficiency gains.

  • 10+ years in web-related roles
  • 3–5 years in website/content management roles — ideally with experience in enterprise-level or global site structures
  • 1–3 years using a headless CMS, especially Contentstack, or similar platforms like Contentful
  • 2–3 years working with cross-functional global teams, handling localization, translation workflows, or international digital campaigns
  • Experience managing vendors or digital agencies

  • Foster strong working relationships with global stakeholders and vendors.
  • Navigate challenges like content delays, tech glitches, or localization issues with calm and clarity.
  • Think analytically about user journeys and website performance.
  • Thrive in a constantly evolving digital landscape with shifting priorities and tech updates.
