AI in this role
Design and optimize delivery partner pricing strategies and rate cards using financial modeling and AI tools.
Key job responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive rate cards across multiple business lines, grounding each in on-ground operational realities and local market conditions to align with long-term cost plans and quarterly guidance targets.
- Lead long-term planning cycles and quarterly guidance processes for DSP pricing, including peak incentive modeling when needed, to maintain sustainable operating costs for Amazon and partners.
- Collaborate with strategy and expansion, payments, ACES, and Delivery Program Manager teams to ensure rate card designs account for available technology capabilities and enable timely partner payments.
- Conduct financial reviews to assess partner profitability, distinguishing between programmatic or operational changes and pricing adjustments, and connecting DSP cost drivers to the broader business P&L.
- Use AI-driven approaches to optimize rate card production, improve data analysis, and identify pricing opportunities across the network.
A day in the life
You might start your morning reviewing partner profitability data and preparing a financial review with the payments team. Mid-morning, you could join a working session with strategy and expansion colleagues to align rate card assumptions for an upcoming country launch. After lunch, you may work with Delivery Program Managers to understand operational cost drivers on the ground, then spend the afternoon refining a quarterly guidance narrative for leadership review. Throughout, you will connect with ACES and technology teams to ensure your pricing mechanisms translate into accurate, on-time partner payments.
