AI in this role
BNG is one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing businesses in AWS. Our customers include online gaming operators, digital sports entertainment companies and prediction markets. We also serve gambling technology, lottery technology, sports technology and data companies. The segment keeps changing as new markets open, new products launch and new competitors enter. This leader will thrive on that pace.
Our customers run some of the most demanding workloads in the cloud. Live sporting events create massive traffic spikes in a matter of seconds. Odds and pricing engines must run in real time with very low latency. Every platform operates under strict regulatory, geolocation and responsible gaming requirements that vary by jurisdiction. Resilience is non-negotiable. Downtime during a major sporting event costs customers revenue and player trust. AWS gives these customers the resilience to scale for peak moments and the agility to launch in new markets faster.
AI and agentic workflows are changing the industry. BNG customers use AWS to personalize offers, detect fraud and risky play, automate trading and risk management, and modernize customer support. AWS provides the foundation to build and run production-ready AI agents at scale.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead, hire and develop a team of Account Managers focused on Betting and Gaming customers
- Drive revenue growth and adoption across the BNG customer base
- Build executive relationships with C-suite and technology leaders at key accounts
- Develop territory strategies that identify whitespace and drive expansion with established and emerging market entrants
- Lead complex strategic agreements from strategy through close
- Partner with specialist, solutions architecture, partner and service teams to deliver solutions for real-time platforms, data and analytics, security, and GenAI/agentic use cases
- Prepare customers for major sporting events and new market launches
- Own the district operating rhythm, including forecasting, pipeline inspection and business reviews with senior AWS leaders
