Department: IT
Location: Dublin (hybrid)
Reports to: Innovation Manager
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Background:
The legal sector has entered a period of significant change driven by artificial intelligence, automation, data, new client expectations and evolving models of legal service delivery. Arthur Cox has a strong history of innovation and is committed to ensuring that technology is adopted in a practical, responsible and commercially valuable way across the firm.
The Innovation & AI team plays a central role in this agenda. Part of the firm’s Legal Tech & Innovation Services Group, the team helps the firm identify, assess, implement and scale the technologies and working practices that will support the future delivery of legal services. It owns the AI and legal technology product portfolio across its full lifecycle - from horizon scanning and opportunity assessment, through pilots, business cases, implementation and adoption, to ongoing optimisation and retirement - and leads the AI Enablement pillar of the firm’s AI strategy, including the adoption and effective use of tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Legora and AI agents. The team works closely with lawyers, Innovation Lawyers, Knowledge, Risk & Compliance, IT and firm leadership to ensure that AI and legal technology are deployed in a way that improves client service, enhances lawyer effectiveness, manages risk and supports the firm’s strategic priorities.
About the role:
We are seeking a talented individual interested in building a career focused on the application of technology - and, increasingly, AI - within a dynamic client service business. This role is an exceptional opportunity for someone eager to learn how to combine business process design, change management and technology to foster innovation and transform the delivery of legal services.
Reporting to an Innovation Manager, you will become proficient in a wide variety of legal technology tools and solutions, develop skills in project and change management, assist with vendor and product assessments, and support the implementation of technology solutions in a business setting. There will be a significant emphasis on Generative AI and the firm’s AI Enablement agenda, giving you foundational knowledge of how AI works and practical experience applying it in daily business tasks — including through the firm’s AI platform, Legora, and Microsoft Copilot.
This opportunity is ideal for an aspiring individual to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding professional services environment where process redesign and AI are poised to drive substantial disruption over the next decade.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Innovation & AI team in the deployment and adoption of new software solutions, including working with vendors, supporting proof of concepts, coordinating projects and delivering training.
- Supporting delivery of the firm’s AI Enablement agenda, including the adoption and effective use of Legora, Microsoft Copilot and AI agents.
- Assisting our lawyers and Innovation Lawyers in their use of the firm’s existing legal tech and AI solutions, proactively identifying and promoting opportunities to use technology to solve problems and encouraging innovative uses across the firm.
- Becoming an SME for key products and solutions, assisting with training, configuration and further customisation to ensure successful rollout and adoption across the firm.
- Providing ongoing collaborative and proactive support to lawyers on key products and tools, ensuring any questions or issues are resolved swiftly.
- Helping to document processes, requirements and use cases, and supporting the monitoring of adoption, usage and benefits.
- Championing and fostering a culture of responsible innovation, excellence and continuous improvement within the Innovation & AI team and the firm more broadly.

Questions you could be asked
- How do you decide when an AI agent can act on its own versus asking for approval first?
- Walk me through how you've used Copilot in your day-to-day work.
Adapt your resume
- List these exact terms on your resume: AI agents and Copilot. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
- Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
